wanderers, entrepreneurs, and community builders
We seek adventure, getting lost on back country roads and exploring our beautiful lands. To us, travel is about learning, exploring, and experiencing. It’s safe to say that travel has shaped who we are as humans. Travel has defined our mission in life and business. And, travel has shown us where the really good food and coffee shops are!
Before discovering Bigfork, Montana, we were full-time wanderers (while working, of course!). We know how to have a good time, but more importantly, we know how to provide a good time. We’ve taken what we’ve learned over the years — our expectations and ‘aha’ moments from our travels — and brought it all together to create experiences for our guests at Flathead Lake Resort.
We’re learners and we’re doers. We find joy and excitement in creating, building, and serving. When we have an idea, we try it out. When we fail, we learn from it and try again.
We travel to ‘live local’. We want to know how the locals do things — where they eat, where they shop…who the artists and the makers are. Isn’t that the best way to get to know a place?
We come from the Midwest, the Heart of America, but we landed in Bigfork, Montana with a mission to serve our guests and this amazing community.

About Brittain: I am an avid traveler who caught the wander bug in 1998 on a trip to meet family in Croatia for the first time. In 1999, a service trip to Jamaica taught me more than I could ever dream of. Those experiences have carried me through life and business as I’ve built a hospitality mission where ‘Sleep has a Purpose.’
Josh and I lived in our dear Lucy Bug, a 1988 Airstream now for rent, for four years while we traveled the country working event marketing, which ultimately led us to Bigfork, Montana.
The cute furry fluff-ball is our road and mountain kitty, #WalterEisenmeower.

About Josh: Brittain and I got married in 2016. I too, had a love for travel. I spent one year living in Peru as an exchange student for the Rotary Club and moved every few years for work or school. At the time we met, I was running a podcast and consulting business focused on helping small businesses make a #DollarAndaDifference.
Featured in the photo is one of my favorite favorite products — Who Gives a Crap toilet paper. Not only is their (toilet) humor clean and sit-down appropriate, but WGAC's mission is to donate 50% of profits to ensure everyone has access to clean water and a toilet within our lifetime. Now that’s a mission that’s right on par with mine and Brittain’s missions to ‘Sleep with Purpose’ and to make a ‘Dollar and a Difference’.
I’m excited to tell you too, that all guests of Flathead Lake Resort get their very own pretty wrapped rolls of Who Gives a Crap toilet paper. Keep the paper. It makes a fine gift wrap. ;)
